From 8 to 90 days in advance (Torrey Pines Golf Course Only)
Brandt Snedeker is the defending champion. Wind was a factor last year and he won at just 6-under , the highest winning score at Torrey Pines since Fuzzy Zoeller in The average score was a whopping Snedeker also won the event in He was T2 last week in Abu Dhabi, his third straight worldwide start no worse than T6.
He was third here in but doesn't have a Top 10 at Torrey Pines since. Day did win this tournament in and was second the year before but missed the cut last year. Matsuyama was 27th at the Sony Open last time out and has missed the cut here the past two years but had been playing fantastic before the Sony. Snedeker obviously likes this course but missed the cut at the Sony Open last time out.
Koepka is making his debut. He was 41st here in Just once in the past 13 years has the hole leader at Torrey Pines won this event, and that was Tiger in when he won by eight shots.
An American has won this tournament all but three times. That would be quite a story, but I don't see it. I'd probably say no. Stalling won this tournament in and was a playoff loser the next year. He has Top 10s the past two years at Torrey and one last week. In four of his past five Farmers, he has four Top 10s and two T4s -- including last year.

On Sneds myself Craig some double that if it comes in!! Good luck on the dbl Craig — from what I saw Jimmy Walker was wild off the tee yesterday and those closing holes are tough regardless of wind. However the Betfair market still has Snedeker favourite so is the weather predicted to be harsh again? I would have thought Snedeker would have blown out otherwise.
Did it with little risk. Tennis is my main sport in punting but hardly got involved this tourney. Just the one bet on Azarenka. Wind or no wind. I guess you would prefer it to be as windy as hell. Sneds is in the clubhouse. A Wind Advisory has also been issued. The Wind Advisory is no longer in effect.
Winds through early Monday morning, west to northwest 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. Highest winds at the immediate coast. Winds Monday morning through early Monday evening, west to northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Winds diminishing Monday evening. The Winds will make driving difficult, …….. Watch for downed trees and tree limbs, powerlines and other debris. Secure loose property so it doesnt become airborne.
Congrats to all who had sneds. Glad that mess is over. My words came back to haunt me. Move on to the phoneix and hope the weather stays away. Absolutely, so many fell away last round.
Fair play to Snedeker, handled the conditions really well, so well done to him and his backers. Hope we get an uninterrupted week this week. That defeat must rankle and I expect the year-old to be highly motivated on his return. When does the Qatar actually start? Ok a little more serious this week. Could be a little overpriced. Doubles in Qatar with; B Grace gotta be there with a shout G Coetzee Never get him right but coming in to a bit of form. Best of British everybody.
Finally a cheeky bet at 80s on Colsaerts FRL. Farmers d Johnson Qatar j listen ew double. Seeds is the obvious one here for me with young Danny Lee as back up. All is not lost for you Craig.
Maybe Sneds is good thing. I should have checked the weather report and traded. Lovely stuff nice to get one up early congrats on the double Craig getting one up is hard enough.
